New Journal is Done!

Ok, my taxes still aren't finished but the journal is! :)

It is the largest journal I've created to date and I admit I'm pretty proud of it. The pages are a mix of 140lb cold press watercolor paper, 67lb cover stock, vintage text book pages and fabric. I've left plenty of space for journaling, adding pictures, doodling, painting, stamping and anything else I've forgotten. Front and back sheets add up to 60 pages ready for inspiration!

Thanks to Patty at Magpie's Nest for allowing me to use her image on the front cover. And thanks to Nellie Wortman for inspiring me with some ideas from her Altered Fabric Book workshop at Creative Workshops.

Want a peek?

Happy Sunday my friends! I am thankful for you!

My Dear Gail
I am just so proud of you for creating this exquisite book. Congratulations for finishing it - it looks truly inspirational and I love the painted pages so much - this really has your own touch. It is amazing that we all completed Nellie's workshop and our books are so incredibly unique and reflect our very own heart and soul!
I am so sorry for not contacting you dear friend but life has somehow snowballed but please don't give up on me yet!
Come and visit me sometime when you too can spare yourself away from creating a new journal in your head.
It is so addictive - just ask Nellie!
Love and big hugs to you,
Suzy
