Exploring Digital Brushes Artfully
This workshop is all about just what the title says...exploring brushes. This is an amazing tool in Photoshop Elements and can add so much dimension to your artwork. Whether you create digitally or in the real world, or like me, both, you can find a myriad of uses for this tool.
So if you are not using the Brush tool to it's full capacity why not start.

This workshop is all taught by video (with audio) and recorded in HD. I walk you step by step through everything with a screen recording program that has you sitting in my seat and seeing everything from my chair. I will provide also provide you with some high resolution images that you can use to experiment with and for use in your own artwork if you choose.

Down and Dirty the Digital Way

In this class we are going to focus on grunging photos with texture layers. I will show you how to use techniques that can take a plain, even boring picture and add some pizazz.
This is a great introduction to layers, blending modes and textures. Layers and blending modes give you limitless ways to manipulate images. You will also learn about the value of cropping and an easy way to lighten or darken your photos with more control through levels and a quick way to resize. You will learn to create text on your photos and how to create a really easy way to watermark photos.
This class is taught in baby steps as I hold your hand the entire journey. If you are a beginner, not to worry, this class is taught in such a way that you can learn! I use software that allows you to follow me step by step in Photoshop Elements with plenty of closeups and explanations.
I teach this class with Photoshop Elements 9 but you can use earlier versions and still follow along.

Layer upon Layer, The Magic of Digital Art

It all starts with layers when it comes to getting truly creative in Photoshop/Photoshop Elements.

Digital collage is not only fun but addicting and popular. These days so many people want to learn how to create a collage from their images, and I believe the best way to learn is to do. So in this video workshop you will learn how to create a digital collage from beginning to end by actually creating three (3) different collages. We will begin with a fairly simple collage using a few layers. The following two sessions we will create two more collages learning to work with more layers in each video. THis class is taught using Photoshop Elements 5.

Golden I think has made a mistake in naming this product. It is very misleading. This is not a class about creating anything digitally through Photoshop or any photo editor. It's about what you can now print on that you couldn't print on before, because inkjet ink won't adhere to many surfaces without going dull or faint or blurry. And too often inks will pool, run and smear easily. But not anymore!
This workshop is not about what you create with your finished product, but the actual creating of unique surfaces to use in your artwork. First you create the surface and then you marry it with your own photos and images and print on it with your inkjet printer. Think of the possibilities! And these new mediums from Golden truly does make those possibilities endless!
